well ive got one.

lately ive been having some doubt if i am truly saved. i do believe Christ died on the cross for our sins and that we are sinners and that we can't save ourselves…but there's always this over-looming "what if" type of thought.
i think part of this stems from not being in the word as often as i really should be and/or not being in church as often as we should be.
please prey that i can have assurance that i am truly saved and that i can get my life straight where it needs to be straightened

hi again
i just had an idea and thought i would share it.
i was thinking that making an AI for the other kid thats going to follow you around would be hard
so how about making it so that when they go back into time they get separated in time
such as the unbelieveing is kid back at creation and then the christian kid at like the flood ( just guessing what events you would want to show )
and they both find each other at the cross
and at the end of each level will be a time portal you got to go through to leap to a different time
idk its just an idea i had to make things easier. i wont be offended if you guys dont use it =D

Hello A_W_O_L_, glad to see your interest in the game! Unfortunately production is temporarily suspended for various reasons. I will still be working slowly on the preproduction along with Matthias, things such as scripts, storyboards, level layouts, etc. Once all that is done I will reopen production. If you leave your blenderartists username(guessing it's A_W_O_L_) , then I will send you and everyone else a PM when we're starting up again. Btw, that probably wont be for at least 2 month, probably more, so if you're not interested then I understand.

hey does anyone have xbox 360 kinect camera Because if they do i think they can connect it up to their pc and use a free software to make animation data
( .bvh files ) which would make more real animation with less editing such as walk cycles and stuff
go ahead and check out the site =D

hi again
how hard would it be to convert the movement file to work in blender 2.6?
because ive recently seen a way to make a game run kinda like a standalone but it still runs from .blends =D
but its not really a big deal. but the way it works is you put the blenderplayer.exe file in a directory ( with all of its .dll's )
and then you program a .bat file to start the .blend with the blenderplayer.exe
but this is my big idea ( maybe it will work maybe it wont idk ) is to program a python program to open the .bat file to edit it the python program then asks for a frame size
and when you click a frame size it writes into the .bat the frame size you want then you click Launch game and it saves the changes to the .bat and then starts the .bat file which starts your game.
but the cool part is you can have all that fancy stuff but it is still ran off .blend files
but it only seems to work in blender 2.6 :(
and i think there would be alot to change because i launch it with this setup in 2.6 blenderplayer.exe and it dont disply any words in the menu's and when you go to play the game the guy just has the speech balloon that says hide!!! and you cant move :(
idk its completly up to you if you want to convert it to blender 2.6 ( cause it does sound like alot of messing around )
and i dont want it to seem like im pressing anyone Lol

ya that would be a big help because if we dont know how big the graphics are going to be we dont know what type of moddling / texturing we have to do?
btw i looked at the demo and it all looks good but i think you should make the movement when crouching a bit slower than when you walk ( just an idea ).
i tried changing it myself but im not that great of a scripter and all i accomplished is the Super jump lol

I am really liking the way that this is looking, I love the music and the logo. Unfortunately I cannot get a sample of what the game is like, my computer says file not found, but if you would like to show me at school I will promise to talk to you (only if you say about my game before hand). My major question here is how realistic are the graphics going to be.

Re: Basic Gameplay by roseresaroseresa, 14 Nov 2011 03:38

If anyone is still following this, I would like to let you know that I am going to work on the pre-production planning for a while. I will mostly be doing this alone, Matthias will be helping though, and anyone who wants can also help. Once I get everything figured out, every little detail, then I will start a new recruiting thread on Blender Artists. Thank you all for your interest, and I hope you will join again once I start things back up. Fair well for now.

I listened to it and started a new forum for the music. You can head over there to see my comments about it.

Re: Basic Gameplay by mcguinnessdrmcguinnessdr, 27 Sep 2011 22:20

So TWS made some awesome music, but I think it needs to be a bit slower and less up-beat. It might fit in with some segments of the game, but I was thinking the over all game feeling would be more somber than that. Music is one of the most important parts of a game, it draws the player in with the emotions it caries, so we need to have this perfect, the problem is that it's really hard to communicate what I want in a forum post. Let us hear what the rest of you think, and TWS, lets see what you can do. BTW, if you haven't listened to his music, it's in the new music page.

Hello! This forum seems to have become a ghost town, it nice to see that someone else visits here besides me. I've have been sick for the past few weeks, and other projects have been taking up my time. I've contacted other members and most of them said that they were still interested and would have something to show soon, but that was weeks ago. Infinite was helping me finish up the movement, but I haven't heard back from him. Matthias said he would post on here, but that was also a week ago. Hopefully this project, through the power of God, will make it somewhere. If nothing happens within the next few weeks, I was thinking of post a new recruitment thread on BA. Thank you for your continued interest.
